General Information about The DNA Revolution (01:119:140:01)
Overview:
This one semester, three-credit course teaches the fundamentals of molecular genetics, biotechnology, and modern genetics. It is designed primarily for non-science majors, but prospective chemists, physicists, engineers, and computer scientists might find it interesting as well. A major feature of the course is that all students are required to carry out a research project (click on the "Research" icon at the left for more information). To help them carry out their research projects, we have provided an extensive set of course-specific Internet resource material.
